I bought her cd 19 when I first came out, & I was in love with it, because I could relate to every single song on that cd. It became like, a part of me. I used Hometown Glory as my audition for my high school’s fall musical last year, I sung Make You Feel My Love as a part of one of my poems, & to get a boy once lol. I was one of those cds where you never get tired of listening to it. Recently I bought 21, her newest LP, & I feel the same about it, except deeper, because I’m older, & now I’m really understanding relationships in a whole new light. She was interviewed about the meaning of the album, and said “Same story, different guy”. That’s when I knew I had to buy it, because that’s how I feel about any song i write. It’s always real, and comes from the same place, but about different people at different points in my life. Then listening to the album, it’s an entire story, & it’s so beautiful. I feel like she knows exactly what place I’m at in my life, then makes a cd so I can relate to it. My morning routine has come to include turning to song #3 (Turning Tables), then letting it play from there. If there are people out there who aren’t on her band wagon by now, this would be the time to hop on.
